Mask Series

Portrait illustrations. Each portrait has a person wearing uniquely designed masks on a flat background. This series of drawings is a callback to the Covid-19 pandemic where we had to wear masks due to the mandate. Because of this, we were only able to see each other’s eyes and hair, while the most expressive parts of ourselves are hidden. This is to show that our beauty and diversity can still show, even in the masks we wear.
